ABOUT THE PAMMOD GUINEA PROJECT

The Project for Diaspora Mobilization Mechanisms for a Sustainable Contribution to Guinea’s Development (PAMMOD Guinea) aims to facilitate the contribution of the Guinean Diaspora in Africa (Senegal, and Cote d’Ivoire) and Europe (France and Belgium) to the socioeconomic development of Guinea, through the establishment of a mechanism to facilitate their participation in sharing their skills, providing support, learning and exchanges with local Guinean entrepreneurs.

This project, which was implemented with funding from the development agency of Belgium’s federal government (ENABEL), is implemented by the Grdr Migration-Citoyennete-Developpement, in partnership with the African Foundation for Development (AFFORD) and the Coordination des Associations Guineennes de France (CAGF).

Key outcomes from the project have been:

  1. Mapping research of the needs and expectations of the Guinean diaspora in France, Belgium, Côte d’Ivoire, and Senegal
  2. Matching of Guinean diaspora experts to support and mentor Guinean SMEs in growing their businesses
  3. Development and production of a “Doing Business in Guinea” Guide in English and French
