Freelancers make up over 15% of the UK workforce and the impact of late payments means entrepreneurs are at regular at risk of losing their homes, their relationships and struggling with their mental health. Sometimes, although unhelpful, the reason for a late payment is understandable, a late payment in the chain impacts everyone waiting to be paid further down the line.
