The African Union Commission (AUC)’s Diaspora division CIDO held a Business Bootcamp in Dar Es Saalam, Tanzania. The AFFORD Business Club (ABC) manager attended to share expertise and experience. The Boot camp welcomed 21 entrepreneurs from 17 African Countries with businesses ranging from agriculture, agri-processing to tech, education and beauty products made from African natural ingredients.
The learning, networking and partnership building was inspiring to be part of and the young entrepreneurs, both diaspora and indigenous, were incredible in what they are accomplishing and the scale of the plans they hold. The expert mentors on hand volunteered their time to ensure the participants got the maximum impact from the boot camp. Some of the mentors included friends of AFFORD Christelle Kupa of Uhusiano Capital and Richard Tandoh of Star100/ Global Innovation Fund. Well done CIDO.
