For those remarkable 30 years, AFFORD demonstrated the global significance of the African diaspora and expanded its positive contributions to African development and the wider world. This legacy was built through ordinary individuals making extraordinary, consistent contributions from AFFORD’s founders, trustees, staff, resource persons, volunteers and countless supporters who shaped our impact over three decades.
Building on this foundation, we continue to look ahead to the next 30 years with renewed purpose and ambition. Working alongside partners, grantees, members and colleagues from Europe to Africa, we will build upon AFFORD’s impressive track record whilst pioneering new approaches for the future. The next three decades present unprecedented opportunities to deepen our impact, forge innovative partnerships, and mobilise a new generation of supporters and collaborators.
Our vision for the future includes expanding our reach, developing cutting-edge programmes, and securing sustainable funding to ensure AFFORD’s continued leadership in diaspora development work.
