Why AFFORD: As a member of the African diaspora, I was initially attracted to AFFORD due to the focus on utilising the skills of the diaspora for development. I find the practical enterprise centred approach to development and emphasis on the diaspora refreshing and particularly important for sustainable development in Africa.

I am passionate about Africa because: I am an African and have always had a passion for all that Africa has to offer culturally, socially and economically despite its many challenges. I believe that Africa has the social, cultural and economic potential to lead in growth and development globally.
